Restaurant Week day 2 Coco Pazzo

Um, not anywhere near as impressive as 66 was yesterday. All our waiter did was hit on the hostess, and the runners did everything but take our order. And our waiter told Andy this dish that ended up having pancetta in it was vegetarian. Right.

But the food was all right. The so called agnolotti were actually square raviolis. (look in the French Laundy Cookbook to find out what they really are) The appetizers were really quite good, except the lettuce on the salad that had pancetta looked kinda wilty. Tiramasu was good, but the ice-cream stuffed doughnut was much better.

Sigh. I guess that’s just a thing about Italian food, it always turns out better at an Italian’s house than at a resturant. Tomorrow, maybe a return visit to 66? For the company, I already know the food’s amazing.
